Safety and risk
Some things are enforced by the contracts and cannot be worked around. Many more are not. This page separates the two, because a launchpad that lists only the first half is telling you half a story.
What the contracts do guarantee
- Liquidity cannot be pulled. The position is held by the factory and there is no function to withdraw it — not for the creator, not for us.
- Supply is fixed. The token has no mint function. What exists at launch is all there will ever be.
- No presale and no team allocation. The entire supply goes into the pool. The creator's opening buy, if any, is a normal purchase at the opening price and is visible on-chain.
- A brief wallet cap at launch. For the first few blocks no single wallet may take more than a small share of supply, which blunts sniping.
- Non-custodial throughout. Muup.fun never holds your funds or your keys. Every action is a transaction you sign.
What none of that protects you from
Locked liquidity is a statement about the pool, not about the price. It is entirely possible for a coin with permanently locked liquidity to go to nearly zero, and most do.
- Anyone can launch anything. A name, symbol or image can impersonate a real project. Check the contract address, not the branding.
- Early holders can sell into you. The wallet cap expires after a few blocks. Look at the holders tab before sizing a position.
- Nothing here is vetted or endorsed. Listings, rankings and AI-written descriptions are generated from on-chain activity and are not a recommendation.
- Transactions are irreversible. There is no support queue that can undo a trade, recover a wrong address, or restore a lost wallet.
Read this before your first trade
Meme tokens are extremely speculative. Prices can go to zero at any moment, and most tokens launched on any launchpad lose value. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose entirely.
A short checklist
- Check the address ends in 8888. Every coin launched here does; a coin claiming to have launched here that does not, did not.
- Open the contract address on the explorer and confirm it matches what you expect.
- Check the holders tab — a top-heavy distribution is a position someone can exit into.
- Look at how much has actually traded, not only the market cap.
- Size the trade so that a total loss is one you can shrug off.
